Your first task is to assess the development of your Portfolio, in the form of a written critical reflection. Here you will need to evaluate the Portfolio's development by appraising your own capacity for identifying, evaluating and selecting suitable evidence of your practice against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. You will also evaluate your developing capacity to connect artefacts to the Standards in ways that emphasise your meeting of the Standards 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5

The Digital Professional Portfolio provides an evolving showcase of the Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice and Professional Engagement embedded within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Within your critical reflection you should make reference to the Collect, Select, Reflect Framework found within the resources of the Digital Professional Portfolio as a way of highlighting how you are developing your capacity to appraise artefacts for inclusion, identify content that is relevant and connect this content to your development with impact.

Your previous entries into the Portfolio will provide essential opportunities to identify areas of strength and areas in need of development. Your reflection should include reference to your plan (Part B, Task 2) for strengthening areas identified and also how you plan to consolidate on what you are doing well.
