Part A. Case Study

Your task is to undertake some research into a company that has built and sustained an innovative work environment. This may be a local company, or even a global company. Once you have researched into at least one innovation that has been successfully implemented in the workplace, briefly describe both the company and the innovation, and then answer the following questions:

1. How does the company lead through innovation?
   1. Discuss how the company has made innovation part of its management activities?
   2. How does it positively receive ideas?
   3. What types of relationships does the company have?
   4. What risks has it taken to become innovative?
2. How are management involved in the process?
3. How do the company evaluate their innovations?
4. Are there any work practices in place that support innovation?
5. Is teamwork and collaboration involved in maximizing innovation opportunities? How?
6. How is the innovation promoted in the workplace and in the wider community?
7. Does the physical environment of the company support or inhibit innovation? How?
8. How are learning opportunities shared throughout the company and the wider community?
