Lets create a large fiie with a bunch of random numbers that we can use for an example in the following task. Execute the

following command to create this file $($type carefully watching for spaces, semi$-$colons, etc$).$

counter$=0$; while $[$ $counter $!=500000]$; do echo $RANDOM $>>$ numbers;

counter$=$$$(($counter$+1))$; done

This creates a file with half a million random numbers. This should produce a file called numbers.
