Task 2: This task provides evidence for CILO 2 (25 marks) There are different types of visas provided by the kingdom of Bahrain for foreigners when they want to come to Bahrain. Every visa is provided as per the purpose of the visit, number of expected visits and the length of stay in the Kingdom. The Expatriate Management System (EMS) allows the employer or the authorized person for any establishment to apply for new work permits, work permit renewal, change of expatriate occupation, and all LMRA transactions related to the employer. 2.1 Discuss the procedures that a selected organization follows for obtaining an Expatriate Employee work visa. (10 marks) 2.2 Discuss any difficulties, problems or issues experienced by the organization related to application and approval for working visa. (5 marks) 2.3 Visit the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) website and gather information about the issue in 2.1 and apply the regulatory framework information collected and compare with information collected from the organization. Are there any differences between the two? Which official form should be used? What are the required documents to be attached with the form? Can the employee transfer later to another organization? If yes, when and on what conditions? (5 marks) 2.4 Present and communicate appropriate findings.
