Task $3$: Choosing a cloud provider with a focus on Data Governance and Security

As massive amounts of data will be generated and consumed worldwide, you choose a cloud provider to host the

distributed system. As the to$-$be$-$implemented application will be business$-$critical, you focus on the following

main criteria for your assessment: Data Protection, Data Security, and Data Governance.

$1.$ Explain the main principles of Data Protection, Data Security, and Data Governance. Demonstrate how these

principles can be practically applied by referring to the presented use case.

$2.$ Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of three of the major cloud providers, as well as one minor provider

of your choice with respect to Data Protection, Data Security, and Data Governance. Set out which features are

available for different services within each cloud platform with respect to the presented principles.

$3.$ Make an informed suggestion for a suitable cloud provider for the system of the use case. In addition to the

aspects mentioned above, take costs into consideration as well as foreseeable future developments in this field.
