The subcontractor has requested that an extension of time clause be included in the contract, due to the possibility of unforeseen delays that are beyond the control of the subcontractor. Suggest the wording for such a clause

b.If work by the subcontractor is delayed due to wet weather, and this will lead to an extension of the subcontract finish date, what procedure should be followed by the sub-contractor in relation to the subcontract clause as you have written it, and

c. the builder in relation to the head contract? Explain how the situation relates to the project construction schedule (that is, what happens if the extension of time for the subcontractor will also extend the project finish date?
