Requirement: visio or packet tracer or any software to create network topology Scenario: Faculty of Computing (FC) has a new building in Pekan, Pahang. The new building has FIVE levels. FC will use a high-speed wired and wireless network connection that can support each level and room. Also, the connection will support the teaching and learning process where they will use 100% digital classroom. The server for the digital smart room will be located at level 1. This server will be used as a backup server if the UMP main server is down. Digital classroom is a critical system because all the materials have been stored in this system including student marks and the final test question. Thus, a full security connection is needed by FC. FC also has their own systems. The systems are lab booking, final year project submission, thesis submission and inventory system. All the systems have different views for different types of users. The inventory system is a new system. The system does not only log the activities of inventory in and out but is also able to determine and alert the person in charge about the inventory that needs to be ordered immediately by sending message to the assistant administrator mobile phone. All the system has been in a different server from the digital classroom server. FC uses log file that will capture all the transaction in and out for 24 hours and 7 days. The log server can only be accessed by the authorised person because the content of log files is confidential which will be used for auditing purposes
