Task $4$: Signalised Intersection Design

The intersection between Derrimut road and Heaths road in Hoppers Crossing VIC, $3030$ is planned to be modified for temporary roadworks. The modified plan is shown in Figure $6.$ As the induction loops of this intersection are to be replaced as part of the roadworks, the traffic signal system of this intersection is planned to be operated using a fixed time controller. Note that due to the temporary roadworks, some traffic movements near the intersection $($e$.$g$.,$ entry and exit to side roads$)$ have been restricted. The estimated hourly traffic and pedestrian volumes are given in Figure $7.$
