Structure

Part $1.$ Students need to select an organization involved in global activities. They should overview its history, activities, and global presence.

$>$ They will research the company, its start, growth, global presence and branches worldwide.

$>$ They will introduce its products and track the popularity of these products.

Part $2.$ Students are to give a brief explanation of the organization's involvement in the strategic management process and explain the key strategic terms as explored in this organization.

$>$ They need to assess how the company benefits from the utilization of strategic management.

They will track the applicability of the three stages of strategic management.

They will explain the key terms in strategic management as explored in the company.

Thus, general definitions are not needed. Rather, students need to explain the terms as they witness them in the company.

In other words, they need to specify the vision, mission, values, strengths, weaknesses, strategists, etc., the way these concepts are explored in the company.

Part $3.$ Students should perform an external assessment relative to this organization, especially Porter's fiveforces model and draw conclusions as a result of this environmental scanning and industry analysis.

They will assess the $10$ external forces that impact the business and identify each as a threat or opportunity.

They will assess the attractiveness of the industry with reference to Porter's Five$-$Forces Model:

Part $4.$ Students will summarize their findings and evaluate the data they collected, emphasizing the lessons they have learned.

They will introduce the messages they learned from this assignment.
