Task Write a report in which you present your research findings on the factors that explain differences in house sale prices and, based on your findings, formulate a linear regression model for the purpose of house price valuation. The report should begin with a summary of up to 100 words on your findings, followed by an introduction, the main body of the report, a conclusion, and an appendix. In the main body of the report, you may want to have more than one section, and should include a description of the data, how you motivated and formulated your models with the aid of the techniques learned in this course, how you identified your model, and a discussion of your findings. The appendix should be well set out, with brief descriptions, so that information presented there is easy to follow. Notes 1. You are expected to write a professional report presenting analysis of your empirical findings. Appendix A on Pages 237-240 of the textbook provides some guidelines on writing an empirical report. Students may wish to Google the literature on relevant topics, but this is not compulsory. If you do use any references, you need to properly cite their sources. 2. Inyour report, you need to describe how you approached the tasks and justify your findings. You need to demonstrate that you can effectively apply the econometric analysis learnt in this course to empirical research, and the ability to apply critical and logical reasoning to the analysis of the econometric results.
