Teams of $4-6$ Assignment:Based on the LEAN Kaizen assignment #$2$ use your work in that assignment plus any instructor feedback conduct a STANDARD WORK KAIZEN following the in$-$class training in Chapter $23.$ The project is to include a full detailed report of the Kaizen held including steps followed, issues found, suggestions investigated, benefits, newspaper items, $,$ and a Completed Report Out set of power point slides $($may be presented to Class$).$From this Process work together as a team to complete the Following:$1.3$ options investigated and try stormed to improve the process $($Include a Current State Value stream Map and all three future state Value stream maps$)2.$ All calculations and considerations$3.$ Short term actions required to implement$4.$ Longer term actions to further improve the process$5.$ Other Opportunities observed for future Kaizens$6.$ A fully completed Standard Work Kaizen report out $($Power Point Masters included$)$ this may be a class presentation no more than $15$ minutes in length$7.$ A summary of key learnings and individual team members ah$-$ha moments$8.$ Any before and after pictures if possible$9.$ A complete summary of Benefits including cost reductions, output improvements, space savings, quality improvements, customer service improvements, additional value added over previous current state, Ergonomic or safety improvements, or other benefits $($show calculations if applicable$)10.$ A Daily management plan including the daily metrics explained that will be used to ensure sustainment of your process changes An example of your daily management board would be very helpful$11.$ Cover Page, Table of Contents, include the original Kaizen Charter, Current State Map and Proposed Future state map, Clearly labelled sections, Reference page, plus Power point presentationAs part of the teams report out include all charts, job descriptions, pictures if possible, product pictures, descriptions, and company competitors.
