Teamwork is a vital skill required to solve business problems; thus, it is the focus of the business case study component in this module. To succeed in any organisation, students must develop the skills to make decisions effectively with others. The exchange of opinions is an essential part of decision$-$making and learning. This interaction ensures that you share different approaches to the problems in the cases.

Teamwork also helps to make problem solving a more rewarding experience even if it is more time$-$consuming and, at times, frustrating. Students will be required to collaborate in their groups. The benefit of teamwork is to work through problems as a team, share and debate ideas, and find joint solutions.

Task: Artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and the Internet of Everything $($IoE$)$ are the three key technologies currently used to meet most of the emerging demands of a digitalised and smart planet. IoE and smart sensors are used to meet ground$-$level requirements to sense the data values related to smart homes, hospitals, traffic, parking, waste management and other related requirements. Cloud computing is also an integral part of the smart planet solution due to its storage$/$remote processing capabilities. It also extends various services, such as infrastructure, software, and network as a service. Artificial intelligence$-$ and machine learning$-$based solutions are coming up with several new and innovative ideas to make the life easier. This assignment focuses on covering novel aspects and ongoing developments towards realising smart planet solutions using the aforementioned technologies.

Purpose: Group assignment should provide insight into IoE intelligence in terms of applications and algorithmic challenges. In groups, students should address the major challenges in realising artificial intelligence in IoE$-$based applications, including challenges that vary from cost and energy efficiency to availability to service quality from an adopted sector. The assignment should focus on a certain sector that is interested in implementing the smart planet$/$environment vision via intelligent wireless$/$wired enabling technologies. By bringing together innovative ideas on the advancement and emerging role of artificial intelligence in the IoE and its applications in selected sectors$.$ The latest developments, innovations and best practices related to IoE intelligence and its impact on selected sectors should be explored. The sectors may include manufacturing, transport, the supply chain, communication, the government, the legal sector, financial services, energy utilities, insurance, healthcare, and retail. The discussions may be supported by the following literature:
