In this project, you select an Excel template from the Business category and create a

workbook. You explore features used in the template and edit the workbook to

customize it$.$

Create a new workbook from one of the Excel templates in the Business category that

contains formulas and$/$or functions. Save the workbook as $[$your initials$]$ Template

Assgn. Modify your workbook according to the following guidelines:

$1.$ Review sample data and formulas in the workbook.

$2.$ Determine if hidden elements $($worksheets$,$ columns, rows$)$ are included and display

them.

$3.$ Use Find & Select and Go To Special to locate data validation. If the workbook

includes data validation, review the settings to make a change that makes sense for

the worksheet. If validation criteria does not exist, identify a cell or range in which

you can build and apply validation.

$4.$ Insert a note in a blank cell on the sheet with data validation explaining where the

data validation is$,$ how you changed it$,$ and its purpose.

$5.$ Enter or edit sample data to test formulas and other elements in the worksheet.

Change the font color of the sample data to red.

$6.$ Insert a note in a blank cell to explain the purpose of the workbook. The note should

be easy to see for a new user.

$7.$ Insert a check box or option button form control used to indicate that you have

reviewed the sheet. Change the text of the form control label to indicate its purpose.

Decide where to present this on the sheet.

$8.$ Inspect the workbook and remove metadata that you think can be safely removed.

$9.$ Check accessibility and add alt text or mark objects as decorative as needed.

$10.$ Save and close the workbook and upload it to the Template Assignment D$2$L

submission folder.
