Select any current global/international business-related event, news story that is of high importance to a global industry (e.g. offshoring, manufacturing, tourism, etc.) or one that is crucial to a foreign country, region, or the global economy and provide a detailed analysis of its impact in the marketplace. You can also choose a current topic that explains how the global economy affects the US economy, US corporations in general or specific US companies. Other topic considerations; the world economy and analyze its repercussions on individual firms, industries, countries, regions, groups of countries, etc. Examples might be Offshoring, NAFTA, BREXIT, Sustainability and Renewable Energy, Chinas One Belt One Road Project, The Impact of Automation on the World Economy, The Chinese Economy, US Relations with International organizations, etc.
Apply theories learned in class and provide references. Use the textbook and outside quality references to support your answers. Include all applicable theories discussed during the course and implementation plans/strategies.
This minimum 10-12 page paper (not including cover page, table of contents and reference page) must be typed double-spaced and comply with APA rules. It must have a 1 margin on all sides, 5-space indentation, font 12 Times Roman,
The paper will include a cover page, Table of Contents, a 150-200 word abstract page, introduction, the body of the paper, conclusions, and references on a reference page. The paper should include at least six academic references.
