Sydney Local Airways (SLA) Limited is Australia's largest local airline by fleet size, domestic flights, and local destinations. As a consequence of COVID-19, the airline is only permitted to fly to the Northern Territory, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and locally within New South Wales. The Australian Government has not released any information to the airline on when flights to Queensland and Victoria will be permitted. Queensland and Victoria represent approximately 35% of the airlines' overall revenues and the current governmental restrictions are placing pressure on the airline's profitability, staff retention, and aircraft costs among others. Sydney Local Airways require help on how they are going to sustain themselves as a going concern in their current business environment.
