I can say that I enjoyed every discussion and activity this course offered. These have been immensely beneficial in aligning with my goals for future certifications and employment. The quizzes, final report, research, and communication activities have provided a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and analysis, which are crucial for my career aspirations. The discussion questions, in particular, have been invaluable for analyzing our ACFR and NFP reports which aids us in our presentations. It's always exciting to learn about different reports by various government and non-governmental organizations and to see firsthand how they manage substantial funds and ensure their growth. This practical knowledge not only prepares us for future certifications but also equips us with the skills necessary for effective financial management in our careers.My goal is to eventually finish my masters and sit for the CPA. This class has helped me move toward that goal as it is one of the necessary classes I need to graduate. I've learned so much about government and non-profit accounting throughout thus course and the differences in reporting standards to that of publicly traded businesses. This class has also encouraged me to be curious about the government entities for which I am a taxpayer and understanding how it is used and managed. The class workload and close due dates made it hard to focus time on learning and understanding the material rather than just knowing enough to complete the homework. I wish everyone luck in their future classes and/or career
