My example situation is :

Suppose that a square glacier with a volume of 4 km3 is floating in the Antarctic Ocean. Due to global warming, the volume of the glacier is melting at a rate of 0.3 km3 per year. How fast is it melting if a glacier melts until its length is only 1 km?

Can you solve it by using composite differentiation? You can change the numbers or the problem a bit if you need to.
