The attached graph shows the different types of information/data collected by thedifferent USB systems. It is evident that all of the systems collect the same data from customers.Having all systems share customer data is a good thing, but it could result in problems down theline. The different systems used to collect data can create problems within the organization whenit comes to transferring the data. It is possible to double enter the same customer, enter the samecustomer with different addresses or phone numbers, or have problems which prevent anothermember from accessing all the customer's information. Customers may also become frustrated ifthey have to enter their information more than once into multiple systems.The possibility of error can be greatly reduced, if not eliminated, by creating a centralrepository for the customer's data in exactly one system.USB can determine what services andproducts each customer would benefit from through this one central system, which is an asset forplanning and coordinating. The one system will allow employees to see detailed informationabout available inventory and customer orders, as well as compare supplier purchase orderswhile improving their performance
