The Trip Generation Model, which relates visitation rates to travel costs, is expressed as 18,650 - 8.5645x, where x represents the travel cost. Cost of travel per kilometre is Kshs. 40, and the cost of time per minute is Kshs. 5.

4(a). Calculate the total number of visits to the park in 2024 when the entry fee is zero, and if the County Government of Nairobi introduces an entry fee of Kshs 500. (10 Marks)

4(b). Explain and demonstrate how to use the data in Table II and the answer in 4(a) above to estimate the economic value of Nairobi National Park. Evaluate the strengths of this approach and describe how to overcome some of its assumptions and limitations. (10 Marks)
