The database development starts with the requirements analysis. There are many sources for gathering requirements. One of the important sources for requirements is user interview. During these interviews, users are asked about what kind of a system they need. Then requirements gathered from the interviews are transformed into a data model. Assume that a database designer made an interview and created an E-R diagram as above. For this activity, you do not need to interview anyone. In this learning journal, you should write a scenario that the user described requirements as in the Library Management System case study in Chapter 3.3 of Sharma et al. (2010, p. 77) during the interview. Requirements described in this interview could be transformed into the above E-R diagram. After writing the scenario, you should also describe the cardinalities in the above diagram. Your Learning Journal should be a minimum of 400 words and not more than 750 words. Use APA citations and references if you use ideas from the readings or other sources.
