The executive team has recently met and determined that they will offer an "appreciation" bonus to all staff members in the company. The amount of the bonus will be linked to years of service and will be calculated for hourly workers and salaried employees. They have determined that employees who have 3 or fewer years of service will be entitled to a lump sum payment of $2000.00 or 2.5% of their annual income -- whichever is higher.
