The first part of the final assignment for this class is an exercise which challenges you to take the things you have learned about leading organizational change and map them across an actual change process. There are two documents attached to this final assignment. One is the final. It is a word document with a table.
The first column is a series of stages in a change process. Change will not happen at an even pace or in a linear fashion. However, this list of stages encompasses the basics of leading change.
The second column is entitled "Tool(s)." For each stage you are to put at least one of the tools provided in the second document in the column labeled "Why", you are to indicate why you have chosen the tool you put in the second column for the particular stage in the change process. You will do this at every stage of the change process.
The tools document provides a list of those things we discussed during the course as well as a few instruments we did not discuss but for which a full description has been provided.
The goal of this final exercise is for you to practice the use of tools as a change agent. Feel free to do research on each or any of the tools. A lot of information on each has been provided as well as some ideas about how they would be used. You do not need to cite any resources because they have been provided in course documents.
