The first phase of a new location setup is determining the IPv$4$ addressing scheme. The IT Manager will supply a network ID that is part of the overall company, and you will be tasked with determining the IP address range and IP addressing parameters for each of the three subnets.

The IT Manager will then designate one of the subnets as the administrative subnet. You will be directed to install Windows $10$ computers on CLIENT$3$ and perform the initial startup of CLIEINT$1$ and CLIENT$2.$ The IT manager has supplied the below resources for the project:

Network Diagram for a new location $($administrative subnet only$)$

IP address range: $172\mathrm{.}16\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0/24.$

CIS$-$NAT$-01$ is the gateway and has an IP address of $172\mathrm{.}16\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}254/24.$

This assignment is designed to reinforce the following learning objectives:

Plan and configure IP addresses needed for the business.

Generate a naming convention for the computers.

Install Windows $10.$

Configure Windows server to support the business.

Create course topology script: Create$-$Course$-$Topology.ps$1$

The Create$-$Course$-$Topology.ps$1$ file is a PowerShell script. You will need to perform the following to run the script to create the network:

Access your system in VCASTLE.

Download the script to the Downloads folder.

Open Windows Powershell $($Admin$).$

Execute the following PowerShell command:

Enter R to run the script

Follow the prompts in the script

Note: The script will perform the following actions:

Create SERVER$-$L$,$ CLIENT$1-$L$,$ CLIENT$2-$L$,$ and CLIENT$3-$L virtual machines.

Create LAB$-$NAT$-01$ virtual switch and configure the switch as a NAT device with the IP address of $172\mathrm{.}16\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}254.$

Rename the network adapters on the VMHost to LAN and LAN$1$ and disable LAN$1$ network adapter.

Set the time zone on the VMHost to EST.

Disable the Windows Update Service on the VMHost.

Update Power Shell help on the VMHost.

Remove Server Manager from the scheduled task that runs each time someone logs in$.$

Verify all network profiles are Private.

Create a C:$\backslash$Labfiles directory.

Create a user account that matches your student ID and sets the password on the account to Password$1.$

You will use this account for the remainder of this course.

Add your user account to the Hyper$-$V Administrators, Network Configuration Operators, and Users groups.

Reset the Administrator password.

Using the network diagram supplied by the IT Manager, generate an IP addressing scheme for the location.

Generate a host and domain naming convention for the business. The naming convention must be unique and have some based on your name.

Install Windows $10$ on CLIENT$3.$

Perform Initial startup of CLIENT$1$ and CLIENT$2.$

Configure IPv$4$ addressing and hostnames on SERVER, CLIENT$1,$ CLIENT$2,$ and CLIENT$3.$

Configure SERVER as a domain controller to support the business in the new location.

SERVER will host DNS for the organization.

All hosts must be able to access the Internet.

Join all clients to the domain.

Complete the report and name the report as follows: Project$\_$P$1\_$Report$\_$FirstName$\_$LastName $($where FirstName is your first name and LastName is your last name$).$

Submit your report using the instructions below.
