The following assignment requires each group to design a project aimed at reducing young users' dependency on social media platforms. The need for the project is initiated by a non- for-profit organization planned by concerned parents called "Free the students". The organization's mandate is to work with local public school boards to reduce students time spent on social media platforms such as: Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and Facebook to name a few. Your project team was chosen to undertake this challenge on behalf of the organization and so your group needs to design a project which will be handed over to every high school administration within the region's school board. The project is to begin in the next school year (September 1" 2022) and is to last no more than 9 months to match the school year duration. There will be a training given to every high school teacher whom will be responsible for implementing the project throughout the year with the students. Deadline: 8am on 10/2/2021 accompanied by a presentation of slides by team members Instructions: 1. Provide a condensed Statement of Work" (SOW) describing the project that you are about to undertake (No more than 500 words - mention: Introduction and background, objectives and Timeline) 2. Design an activity table for this special project along with the sequencing for each task that you want the teachers to follow. Briefly provide a name and description for each activity. (Minimum of 10 activities) 3. Assume that you have a pessimistic, likely, and optimistic estimates for how long each activity is predicted to take. Using the beta distribution, estimate the activity duration for each activity using the TE standard formula, calculate the expected durations (no need to consider variance calculation for the solution).
