The individual project consists in reporting a series of business transactions through the relevant T-accounts, the Trial Balance (reporting the Debit and Credit totals), the Income Statement (Statement of Financial Performance) and the Statement of Financial Position (the Balance Sheet). For this you have to create a set of accounts for a profit-driven business enterprise. You can use an existing business and present their activity, structure and a short historic overview of financial results or present your own business idea (business proposal) for a start-up company with an initial (equity) funding by the owners to which you can add debt financing. This will constitute an approx. 400 words report. Based on your business case, you will prepare a set of accounts for that business reflecting approximately 40 realistic business transactions.
