The list of activities for the construction of a small factory is shown in Table 3.1 below. The contract value of the work contained in each activity is also listed in Table 3.1 below. For the purpose of this example assume the rate of work throughout any activity is uniform. The gross profit margin is 12.5% of the contract value and retention is 6.5%.
