Question:
The management has been observing your behavior with one of our specially-abled employee Sue Nathan. You have been continuously discriminating against her and treating her derogately.
You might be knowing that our restaurant, the Wilson Street Grill, is a great advocate of the American Disabilities Act. We try inculcating the principles of ADA in our business model and there are many employees who are specially-abled to the company. American Disabilities Act is a law passed in the year 1990, which prohibits workplace and public arena discrimination against people with disability. This law gave equal employment opportunity to disabled people, who earlier were pitied off but not hired as an employee. It is the responsibility of the employer to provide reasonable accommodation at workplace to people with disabilities. Reasonable accommodation is also done keeping the risks associated with having a disable person on board. Like adjustment in seating position is done so that a person having leg disability does not have to walk too much.
Through this mail, on the behalf of the management, I would like to give you a final warning for your behavior against Sue Nathan. In future, if the management witnesses your discriminatory behavior against any of our employees, the company has full rights to take strict actions.
Develop a voice script that the manager could use for delivering this warning and constructive criticism to Jonathan. This script should be written like a conversation between two people to include the manager's words and the employee's response to the manager.
