The management of Mega Company, Inc. is considering the addition of a forceful quality  management system in their strategic management plan for the next ten years of their  operations as a manufacturer and trader of vehicular parts and equipment. As a starting  point, the top management hired Mr. Salim Mubarak who is a professional and quite skilful in  Total Quality Management (TQM) to put up and head the Quality Department of Mega  Company, Inc. He was meticulously trained in the United States and worked there for more  than ten years where he is well-exposed in quality; with the thorough knowledge of the  historical background and its professional advocates of TQM; particularly, various issues  relative to quality control systems including the suitability of the different quality control tools  and techniques. According to him, quality management tools are quite substantial in the  company to identify the common problems which are happening repeatedly along with their  root causes in the workplace. Quality management tools make the data available to be easily  understood and enable the employees to identify and implement varying processes in order  to resolve any defects and find suitable solutions in the production of vehicular parts and  equipment; including most specific quality problems across the entire organizational functions. Accordingly, through its various quality management tools and techniques, they  can easily define the workflow and how the process will take its course effectively.
