While on the other hand the alternative hypothesis is that the bags do not average out to fifty pounds of grass seed. In the industry of drywall, we use hypothesis to find out how much time or money a job or just a wall will take. The null hypothesis would be a journey man can hang 60 12x4 sheets a day. The alternative hypothesis would be a journey man cannot average 60 sheets a day. To test this hypothesis, we would need to track production of multiple journey man for quite some time then average out the sheet count per day. If the hypothesis is proven, then we could bid the job accordingly to make a profit and we will also find how long it will take
