Your answer should include: a brief introduction to the problem; the definition of the decision variables (with clear explanation); the description of the objective function and the description of the constraints (with clear explanation). This part is completely independent of Excel!

(2) Enter your model into Excel and find the optimal solution with Solver. Discuss briefly the optimal solution (cost?, number of rolls?, how are these cut? how much waste is generated?) A copy of the model’s setup in Excel and the Solver sensitivity report must come in Appendix to your report.

You can structure the report as you wish but make sure that you answer the 3 questions. Write your report concisely but add explanation for those parts/sections that need explanation.
