The Mini DES cipher is a Feistel Cipher that encrypts 16 bits at a time. Its F function is defined as follows:

(a) Perform the following expansion permutation. 1 13 15 12 5 7 8 16 16 1 2 3 6 12 3 4 9 10 4 6 9 10 14 11

(b) XOR with the round key.

(c) Put the first 6 bits through DES S-Box 1 (S1), put the 2nd 6 bits through DES S-Box 2, put the 3rd 6 bits through DES S-Box 3 and put the 4th 6 bits through DES S-Box 4.
