The Module Self-Assessment is your opportunity to practice applying module content before submitting the final Competency Assessment. In your Final Assessment, you will be asked to create a brief in which you explain the current funding sources accepted in your healthcare setting and propose the addition of a new public or private funding source to assist uninsured and underinsured patients with paying for their care.

To prepare for your Final Assessment, reflect on the public and private funding sources you examined in this Competency to this point. Then search the Walden Library for resources on public and private funding sources.

For this Module Self-Assessment select a funding source on which you would like to focus for your Final Assessment and create of a list of resources you might like to use.
