The most fundamental and persistent argument against globalization revolves around the power of US corporations. The corporations argue that they bring jobs, greater choice, and lower prices into a market when they decide to start selling in new countries. Many agree, but there are a sizeable amount of people across the world that believe that too many US companies push their culture on other countries, shut down too many local businesses, exploit foreign workers and that they simply have too much power and not enough corresponding regulation.
