The Oregon Death with Dignity Law does NOT require in order for a person to legally commit suicide. O that a patient must be found to be terminally ill and have less than six months to live O that patients must have the mental capacity to fully understand the situation that confronts them O a 15-day waiting period after the patient applies and is found to have qualified for physician-assisted suicide O that a physician must prescribe and administer the drugs to end the patient's life
