The PM issue a termination certification as notified by the client under clause X11 with reason for budget cut, in an NEC 4 Engineering and Construction contract (ECC), Option A project, is the Contractor has the right to claim compensation events upon termination using Clause X11, if X11 is used in the Contract and the reason for termination shall be used together with the reason in the termination Table in Clause 90.2? Can the Contractor still Claim under Clause 60.1(18)? What is the procedure for this termination and what's the role of Client, contractor and Project Manager in this. Please explain in detail and in simple English term with reference to NEC 4 ECC contract clauses. 60.1(18) A breach of contract by the Client which is not one of the other compensation events in the contract.
