Review Review the child's assessment products and work samples, and select the pieces to include in the portfolio as documentation of the child's progress. Step 3. Assemble Assemble the portfolio. Part 2: Sharing the Portfolio Step 4. Explain In a separate one- to two-page (not including title and reference pages) Word document, explain how you will share the portfolio with the child's parents and family. How will the portfolio be used to contribute to the parent and family conference? How will it enlighten parents and family to the child's progress and potential growth areas? Step 5. Submit Submit your final 1- to 2-page paper and portfolio (or link to your electronic portfolio)
