The post this week has two parts (so please label them clearly). Watch the movie House of Sand and Fog. Throughout the movie there are scenes where the main characters interact/negotiate, but often they dont go well. Pick a scene to analyze. Transcribe some of the dialogue (or describe the action scene) giving the time stamp so that we are clear on which scene you are referring to and explain whats going on based on the ideas from this course emotional intelligence, trustworthiness, and cultural competence. As you will see, there is little good leadership or negotiation going on (although its not completely absent). If you were to intervene and coach any of the characters, which one, when (at what point in the movie), and what would you advise and why? And, what makes intervening in this situation hard? (Think about how emotions, trustworthiness and culture feed off each other, for good and for bad). What do you take away from this for your own negotiations or leadership challenges
