The PowerPoint presentation shall be formatted as follows:

Submit only three slides, with each slide containing one UML state transition diagram

For each slide, use landscape orientation with a standard 8-1/2 x 11 size

Use only a white background with black text and black graphics; do not use any graphics that are shaded or filled with any colors

For words or numbers in the actual diagram, use a text size ranging from 9 to 12

Near the bottom of each slide, place a title (in a bold 18-point font) for the game or major object whose states and transitions are depicted on the slide

Use no other computerized drawing tool or JPEG-like image to augment the drawing of the diagram

Do NOT put your name or any course or assignment number information on the slide

Try not to crowd too much information on a slide

Assignment Summary

In this assignment, you are to create three UML state transition diagrams based on a non-computerized board game or card game of your choice. The first diagram should be based on the states of the overall game itself. The second and third diagrams should be the states of two of the major objects in the game.

Assignment Directions

Select a board game or card game that you know well

For each diagram, keep the number of game states or the number of object states between three and eight states inclusive

Refer to the Fowler PowerPoint slides for examples on how to draw state transition diagrams

Arrange the state boxes on the page to enhance the understanding of the diagram. The initial state of the diagram should be positioned in the upper left part of the slide

Avoid any crossing over of transition arrow lines

All states and transitions should be labeled
