The project will focus on evaluating our current case transfer, which is completely manual, and work to streamline it$,$ implement automation as well as reduce any duplication of efforts. These legal cases for foreclosure, bankruptcy or litigation are time sensitive with deadlines due to required hearings and appearances. High quality must be maintained and client satisfaction on these cases determines future work. The initial review of the case from the information received is time consuming since it is disorganized and incomplete. A Consent to Change Attorney $($CTCA$)$ form which is hard to find and not standardized is drafted by an assigned attorney and sent to the client for approval. Prior counsel may not cooperate with sending necessary documentation. The profit margin is very slim on these cases. As our firm works to increase market share, a streamlined and more efficient case transfer process with clearer communication on defined roles and responsibilities will ensure we have a competitive advantage and can maintain appropriate workloads.
