The proposal should address the following general questions:

Project Topic$/$ Business Opportunity: What topic$/$recommendation will your Business Case address?

Provide a brief, but specific, description of the topic and its importance. Your topic should be much more specific than just $$The Importance of Workforce Diversity.$$ Your case needs to recommend specific actions or policies within the responsible business principle$($s$).$ You will want to prove that a problem exists. Document the importance of the problem with concrete evidence. You must incorporate at least two sources into the proposal.

Avoid vague generalizations

Provide quantifiable details.

Verify how widespread the problem is$.$

Pinpoint how and why.

Indicate who is affected.

Assess risk and identify alternatives.

Target Company$/$Organization: What is the target company$/$organization for the Business Case? Tell me more about it$.$ You should be able to easily find a source for your company information section.

Recommendation: What specific action or policy do you want to promote?

Benefits: What are the benefits this proposal is expected to deliver?

Resources & Citation Formats: What relevant, credible resources could be used in the Business Case?

List at least four current and credible resources that could be used in the Business Case. At least two of the resources must be published articles and one must be a published book. For each resource, you must describe:

the APA Bibliographic Entry format, and

the APA In$-$text Citation format.

Personal interviews with appropriate credible subjects meet the requirements for resources. If you are going to interview someone, indicate clearly why or how this person$$s perspective will lend credibility to your report.

The proposal should not exceed two pages.

The instructor is your audience for the proposal. Your proposal should persuade and convince that your project meets all the criteria and is generally worthwhile.
