The Purpose of the project is Designing a data warehouse for an academic institution

UQO is seeking to acquire a data cube to help teachers and manager to better understand the results of UQO students.

UQO has a list of all students, the programs in which they are enrolled and the courses they took. For each student-course, the UQO has a mark (A, B, C, D, fail, abandon).

Propose an appropriate data cube as well as an matching star diagram.

If necessary, introduce the attributes and dimensions that you consider required. Then implement your schema in a database by using SQL.

Populate your data cube and demonstrate.

Technical skills required : - Build and use a star or snowflake data cube schema ? Use the SQL language. ? Use computer techniques for data warehouses.
