The reason we use Excel instead of just using the calculator in Excel because when you use the formulas in Excel it solves the problem all by a function that it uses which is AutoComplete to finish the formula instead of you typing the problems into the calculator. Also, when using the formulas, it makes it a lot easier to copy functions throughout the whole table rather than you just typing the same thing one by one. The one thing that the calculator can't do that Excel can is that Excel will always remain constant within the organization of the data whereas a calculator cannot without you needing to type the direct numbers in. Furthermore, your error will be directed to your attention right away and will show you where the issue is and tell you how to fix the problem that is wrong rather than a calculator which says you have an error, and you have to try to fix your mistake without knowing where. Although some people may love a challenge and try to figure it out on their own but sometimes a little help is not bad especially when it comes to formulas including complex ones.
