prototype their network using Cisco Packet Tracer, and will provide them with a quote 

The 6 Tech Inc. Requirements:
• 30 workstations from a PC vendor that can meet the following requirements:
• AutoCAD 2023, Civil 3D 2023, Revit 2023, 3DS Max 2023, Microsoft Office 2023, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Windows 10 Professional Operating system with latest release
• 2 powerful servers that will be clustered (redundancy) to act as a VM hosts for AD DS, file, database, and print server, remote access server, among others.
• Assume that you have 12 VMs, each using 4 cores, with 64 GB of RAM per VM.
• Large MFC Color Printer that's accessible by all workstations.
• A large format printer for printing out floor plans and other diagrams
• In addition to the router provided by the ISP, you should purchase a separate Wi-Fi Router.

Tasks:
1. Cost out the network and create a quote
a. You will need to purchase patch cables, bulk cabling, keystone, jacks, etc.
2.  Explain why you purchased the workstations, servers, and router you ordered.
a. Workstation: Justify based on the requirements above.
b. Server: Justify based on the requirements above.
c. Select & justify the hypervisor you will purchase to run on the servers (Hint: Enterprise).
d. Wi-Fi Router: Justify based on options such as Wi-Fi standards and security features 

Using the 172.24.0.0/16 private IP range, subnet the network appropriately.

a. Use 172.24.1.0/24 as a range for Wireless IPs.
b. Following the wireless IP range, here is a listing of the departments at this firm.
i. CEO Office, which has a CEO and executive assistant.
ii. Accounting, which is a team of 4 employees.
iii. Two engineering teams, which have 8 employees each.
iv. IT, which is a team of 2.
v. Marketing and sales, consisting of a team of 4.
vi. Human resources, consisting of 1 employee.
vii. Reception, which is 1 employee

3. Simulate the network and create a logical network diagram using Cisco Packet Tracer.
a. Add all devices necessary.

i. Name all devices with recognizable names (Ex: EngTeam1-1 to EngTeam1-8, IT1 & IT2)

b. Simulate a connection to the Internet (Hint: Devices should include Edge Router, PT Cloud, and
a device you can ping on the other side).

c. Based on the subnetting above, apply IPs to all devices on your network, and ensure devices
within each subnet can ping each other.
i. [1 mark] Try pinging out the internet. Does it work? Explain why or why not

In your report, you will be expected to attach screenshots. Make sure each one is labelled.

5. Finally, draft an e-mail that will be sent to all employees and clients regarding the planned network outage to implement network upgrades
