Question:
The SQL database needs to be able to meet the requirements for some example data. The SQL needs to be able to receive new data based on a location, store said data and send it out if requested. You will need to make a MySQL application that does these things, some example options for input data and type tables is below. The research team will need to interact with the database via SQL queries and perform database administration tasks. These
Here is a screenshot and the code.
Your task is to store input data, so they have these options listed below, now create a new table inputting the output of the location. Say a person inputs location1, the location must be stored, alongside the characteristics which are currently laided out in different tables. This will all needed to be stored within a single.
Example of timeline. User inputs location, and picks characteristics → store new location with the charateristics in new table so it all can be called for and displayed. Make sure to provide an internal note and output showing the data being displayed. Also please write code for user interaction with the database via SQL queries and perform database administration tasks.
BASE CODE:
CREATE TABLE locations ( id INT AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY, landscape_position ENUM('Flat', 'Undulating', 'Ridge', 'Hill', 'Slope', 'Valley', 'Gully'), vegetation_type VARCHAR(255), vegetation_development ENUM('Old', 'Mature', 'Regrowth', 'Mixed', 'Few trees present'), severity ENUM('Unburnt', 'Low', 'Moderate', 'High', 'Extreme'), ground_layer_recovery ENUM('Unburnt', 'New Growth visible', 'No new growth', 'No ground cover'), shrub_layer_recovery ENUM('Unburnt', 'Shoots present', 'Seedlings present', 'Both shoots and seedlings present', 'No shoots or seedlings present', 'No shrub layer'), sub_canopy_recovery ENUM('Unburnt', 'Shoots present', 'No shoots present', 'No sub canopy'), tallest_tree_recovery ENUM('Unburnt', 'Basal shoots present', 'Epicormic shoots present'), species_name VARCHAR(255), animal_type VARCHAR(255), record_of_calls TEXT, flowering_plants_state ENUM('Ground Layer', 'Shrub Layer', 'Upper Canopy Layer'), survey_date DATETIME );
