The third question "How does your hero'

Everyday Hero Project Introduction: Bryan Stevenson is an everyday hero who works relentlessly to bring justice and mercy to the world. He states, "We have a choice. We can embrace our humanness, which means embracing our broken natures and the compassion that remains our best hope for healing." He urges us to be merciful and to take our brokenness and use it to help move the world forward. Think about the message he leaves you with at the end of the novel for your final project. Directions: Research /choose someone in your community who is an everyday hero - a person who has done something AWESOME to help others. The action this person has taken can vary. It can be as little as a lemonade stand to as big as planning a march against racial injustices. We are looking to celebrate Everyday Heroes in our community. Find someone who you think exemplifies what it means to embrace our broken nature and live life with compassion and mercy. This person can be in your family, friend group, school, or community. Complete an interview with your everyday hero, and create a visual one-pager that identifies, describes, and connects the message Bryan Stevenson teaches us in his novel.
