The three points I chose from Chapter $17$ and Dr$.$ Siqueira$$s video on leadership are consideration, team building and the Path$-$goal$-$theory. Providing a leadership that gives their employees consideration when leading helps to build trust and respect between the employee and employer. Creating a work environment that focuses on team building will bring motivation to complete task or challenges as a team. Adding the Path$-$goal$-$theory by supporting the employees goals; whether it$$s to finish college or move up in the company helps the employee feel empowered. I believe all these are important insights to develop great leadership skills.

The three preferred points from the case $$Being an Effective Leader at $3$M$,$ that I selected are energize and inspire others, integrity and compliance, and raise the bar. These are helpful leadership abilities because each one puts the focus on building a team with the employee and employer working together towards a common goal.
