The training at Pit Crew U improve upon an individuals automotive knowledge. The Pit Crew will be responsible for performing key maintenance checks and changes in a high-pressure environment. Training looks at both mental and physical endurance of the trainee. The skills needed to be successful are concentration, dexterity, and the ability to think on your feet.

As a result of training, agency results are improved not only because of gaining knowledge and skills, but also because of transferring those skills into performance. The transfer of training is a dynamic and complex process that requires planning. Training transfer is influenced by trainees' cognitive abilities and motivations. Besides the training design, other factors to consider are the work environment, such as support from supervisors, peers, and the organization.

For this type of training, I think an end of training written test would be good to gauge the trainees understanding of the work they will perform. I feel that an evaluation would be best if it were in a simulation setting. The only way to know the individual has the mental and physical attributes for concentration and thinking quick on your fees it to be put into a fast-paced setting. This will also allow the trainee to show they have the dexterity needed to perform the job
