Question: The Union Cyclist Internacional ( UCI ) is the premier global cycling organization primarily known as the organizing body for professional cycling around the world.

The Union Cyclist Internacional (UCI) is the premier global cycling organization primarily known as the organizing body for professional cycling around the world. Your firm has been hired by the UCI to research bicycle buying characteristics around the world. They believe that their fan base is built from people who buy bicycles, regardless of the initial reason they make the purchase. They are interested in identifying their fan base in order to better market and price their professional cycling merchandise and television distributorship. In addition, the UCI has other goals including to expand bicycle use around the world to reduce global warming, fight obesity, personal enjoyment, and to expand other health and mental health benefits of bicycle riding. To that end, the UCI is asking you to collect information from bicycle shop visitors, regardless of whether or not they purchase a bike or bicycle accessory. What the organization really wants to know is, what types of people are coming into bike shops? How do we get these bike buyers to start watching UCI? Who/Where should we focus our marketing efforts? Whate relationships exist in the data that we can take advantage of? Are they real (significant) relationships? (I don't want personal opinion here...what does the data say?)
Research Analysis Instructions: Given the scenario above and the dataset provided, construct a research analysis that meets the need of your clients. You are welcome to take great flexibility in constructing a hypothesis, but I encourage you to mirror the research question/hypothesis you developed in your research proposal if possible. Work through the data in an exploratory method first. See what you find. If not possible, a new hypothesis is acceptable. Your methodology should include a t-test for differences, an ANOVA, or linear regression. The dataset can handle other methodologies, but I encourage you to discuss them with me before you pick something else. You may, but are not required, to use the analysis outline below to help structure your work.
