The university needs to develop a new security system. Some Electronic Door Controls (EDCs) with card readers will be installed at various entrances, similar to the practice at the University of Calgary. The system tracks the ID and location (e.g., SH105) of each EDC. A building may have many EDCs installed. The system also needs to record the ID and name of each building. An ERD is needed for the new security system to realize the following functions. - Each employee at the university has an ID, a name, and a phone number.
