The use of Clinical Decision Support Systems to facilitate the decision-making process carries with it some concerns. Some fear the use of Clinical Decision Support Systems can create dependency on computer driven decision-making and decrease the provider knowledge in the decision-making process.  This is referred to as provider bias.
